Walking Meditation and Chadō Tea Ceremony
26th September – 4 pm to 5:45 pm
Join me for an immersive experience in nature.
We will begin and end with a walking meditation intersected by a Tea (Chadō) Ceremony in secluded woodland. The entire event will take place in silence, apart from a short check-in and check-out.
Walking meditation is a mindfulness practice that blends the physical experience of walking with mindfulness. As we walk, we begin to slow down and pay particular attention to the subtleties within our bodies and the finer details within the environment around us.
The Tea (Chadō) Ceremony is a continuation of the walking meditation, but now we sit together sipping tea. Tea is prepared and presented following a defined ritual to respect lineage, steeped in meaning and purpose. Only sustainably produced, high quality, organic Chinese teas are used, sourced directly from small independent Chinese tea growers.
£20 (spaces limited to 6 people).
Meeting point near Winchelsea (full details will be provided after your booking is confirmed).

The Kōdō & Chadō Ceremony is about slowing down and connecting – with ourselves, each other, and the present moment.
